NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW TO AUTHORIZE PARTIAL REAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS AND VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE WORKERS PURSUANT TO NYS REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW SECTION 466-a

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Santa Clara Town Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, beginning at 5:30 PM at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983 concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026.  Local Law No. 1 would AUTHORIZE PARTIAL REAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS AND VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE WORKERS PURSUANT TO NYS REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW SECTION 466-a

 At the Public Hearing, all interested parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Comments may also be submitted in writing at that time if desired. Comments may also be mailed to the Town Clerk in advance of the Public Hearing to the following address: Santa Clara Town Clerk, 5359 State Route 30, Saranac Lake, New York, 12983.  Comments mailed to the Town Clerk must be received no later than 5:00 PM on June 10,2026 in order to be considered.  A copy of proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2026 is on file for public inspection during regular business hours in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Santa Clara Town Hall, 5367 State Route 30, Saranac Inn, New York, 12983. A copy may be obtained at no charge from the Town Clerk upon request.
