TOWN OF SANTA CLARA BOARD MEETINGS
Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting of the Santa Clara Town Board held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 via Zoom due to Covid-19, at 6:00 P.M.

Regular monthly meeting called to order by Supervisor McGill at 6:00 P.M.
Motion by Mickey Webb, seconded by Rick Lyon to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting. All members voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Mickey Webb, seconded by John Murray to accept the minutes. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
Cedarwood Engineering Services PLLC contract for post - closure monitoring of the landfill for 2021 has been received. On a motion by Mickey Webb, seconded by John Murray the Board approved the contract. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
Justice Court Audit - Mike Kilroy audited the court records for the year 2019 as required by Section 2019-a of the Uniform Justice Court Act. The Court Clerk maintains exceptional records. The Documents are filed by month as well as deposit slips and receipts. Mickey Webb praised Justice Michelle Brown Garcia and Court Clerk Carol Gibbs for doing an excellent job running the Town Court.
RESOLUTION No. 7
Motion by Rick Lyon, seconded by Dave Perry
BE IT RESOLVED, that this board agrees that the audit of the Town of Santa Clara Justice Court for 2019 conducted by Michael Kilroy, independent auditor, is accepted;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the audit found that the court records and dockets were found to be in excellent condition;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution is filed with the State of New York Uniform Court System
AYES: Mickey Webb, Dave Perry, John Murray, Rick Lyon, Andrew McGill
The Resolution was declared duly adopted by the Town Board.
Regular board meeting for April 2021 will be April 8, 2021, at 6:30 P. M. Maybe held by Zoom. If so the sign in information will be on the Town Webb Site.
Guy Middleton asked if a date has been set for the next Special Committee on Marina Regulations. Mickey Webb advised no date yet. The date and time will be published on the website and in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise when it has been set.
Good of the Town
Supervisor McGill reported that Highway Superintendent Scott LaMay has sent price quotes on new trucks to all of the Board members. Scott reports that the prices on all truck equipment will be going up as of April 1st. If ordered now it will take a year to get the new Western Star truck and have the box and plow equipment installed on the truck. The cost of the new truck would be approximately $195,601.00. On a motion by Rick Lyon, seconded by Mickey Webb, the Board authorized the Highway Superintendent to order the new Western Star truck. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
General Fund vouchers No. 47 to 60 in the amount of $9,047.75 and Highway Fund vouchers No. 13 to 20 in the amount of $6,495.82 were audited by the Board. Motion by Mickey Webb seconded by John Murray to approve vouchers and pay audited vouchers. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Mickey Webb, seconded by Rick Lyon to go into Executive Session at 6:15 P.M.
The Executive Session is to discuss the Board of Ethics advisory report with the Town’s Special Counsel. This report is not covered under the Freedom of Information Act; therefore it is only available to the Town Board to review. No decisions or actions will be taken during this executive session. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Dave Perry, seconded by John Murray to return from executive session at 7:06 PM. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn at 7:08 P.M. made by Dave Perry, seconded by Rick Lyon. All members voting Aye. Motion carried.
